Watch Derek Jeter’s final career at-bat (Video)

New York Yankees star Derek Jeter hit an RBI infield single at Boston’s Fenway Park in the final at-bat of his 20-year career on Sunday.

Jeter has officially hung up his pinstripes.

It was the 3,465th hit of his career— 6th on the MLB all-time list.

“I have to say, I can’t recall even a single tip or rumor that this guy ever got up to any trouble,” National Enquirer Executive Editor Barry Levine told CBS Sports. “I wish I could give you something. There are some athletes we could talk about for hours, about all the horrible and nasty stuff you hear. With Derek Jeter, I’ve not heard a thing.”

Jeter’s finale came exactly 46 years after Mickey Mantle’s last game.
