Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren is spending the weekend with her girlfriends in New York’s Hamptons after breaking up with her billionaire boyfriend, Christopher Cline.
“She flew in for just the weekend,” one insider told the New York Post’s “Page Six.” “She is single again and hotter than ever.”
Nordegren, 34, dated coal magnate Cline, 56, for more than a year. They’re actually next-door neighbors in North Palm Beach, which makes the split a bit awkward since they’ll see each other in their own backyards.
The two reportedly drifted apart.
“They didn’t spend enough time together,” one friend said. “He has a thriving business and has been traveling a lot.”
Thriving business is an understatement. Forbes puts Cline’s net worth at $1.4 billion.
His Foresight Energy company owns coal reserves in the Illinois Basin. He also owns a 164-foot yacht called Mine Games — which has its own submarine — and a ranch in West Virginia.
Last May, Nordegren graduated with bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a 3.96 GPA, after a nine-year college career.
Taking care of her two kids with Woods through his tabloid sex scandal, as well as the divorce proceedings, caused the delay. She reportedly collected more than $100 million from Woods.
Nordegren and Woods have since buried the hatchet.
“I have moved on and I am in a good place,” Nordegren told People.com last May. “My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good — we really are — and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father.”
Nordegren’s weekend plans include going to the beach, shopping and eating at restaurants with her girlfriends, as she decides what her next move will be in the dating department.
